Needle Felting Workshop

Join women from Heartfelt Tidbits, a Cincinnati Refugee and Immigrant Organization, and learn the art of needle-felting. For the past couple of months a group of women refugees and immigrants have been meeting at Wave Pool each week to process, dye, and felt alpaca wool, sourced locally from Tikkun Farm. Now we'd like to share this fascinating process with you!

During this workshop you will learn about the process of harvesting and carding wool and how it is processed and dyed. Then you'll get to try your hand at needle felting your own creations. You will be given the opportunity to work with many color options of wool to make a small item - an applique, an ornament, a piece of jewelry - whatever you think up!

Proceeds from this workshop will benefit the WELCOME project, a collaboration between Heartfelt Tidbits and Wave Pool aimed at opening a storefront and cafe owned and operated by refugees and immigrants in Cincinnati - coming to Camp Washington Spring 2016!

Space is limited - please purchase tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/needle-felting-workshop-tickets-31489438759
