Bill Daniel pop-up exhibition

(Wave Pool’s very first opening in December of 2014)

Wave Pool, a brand new Camp Washington gallery/artist studio/residency program, hosted experimental filmmaker, documentary photographer and installation artist Bill Daniel.

Daniel exhibited a one-night-only pop-up show comprised of 30 years of 35 mm photographs he took using the same camera set-up, flash and Kodak Tri-X film.

The photos featured everything from ’80s Texas Punk bands to San Francisco’s ’90s graffiti scene to house shows in Louisiana. At every stop along his tour, Daniel collaborates with local sound artists, and for the Cincinnati leg, there was a live soundtrack provided by Umin.
