Video Artist/Animator Marc Governanti has selected two films and a TV show for a series of screenings that have had a significant impact on his youth and direction of his career.  These stop-motion animations and their visual aesthetics focus on formal techniques ranging from the use of plastaline clay to puppet animation. Marc and Wave Pool are looking forward to sharing these delights with children and adults of all ages.

This screening  contains various Gumby episodes from the late 80’s that Marc’s parents recorded for him while he was attending kindergarten.  

Screenings will be outside weather permitting. Bring your own blanket and popcorn for optimal comfort.
