Afternoon Delight

  • The FRINGE 2931 Jessamine Street Cincinnati, OH, 45225 United States (map)

A poetry reading with a medley of Cincinnati's finest at the FRINGE pop-up bookshop.

Marcus Donaldson is a poet and writer with a lot of questions. He is currently writing his first chapbook, and lives with his family on a hill just north of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Elese Daniel is a writer exploring the hybridity of poetry, prose and memoir. Her work is sometimes exhibited or used as lyrical text, occasionally published and performed, but usually just floating in Google Drive or on loose sheets of paper. Elese lives in Cincinnati, Ohio and rides a bicycle in the street.

Nicole Proulx is the biggest mess you've never met. She enjoys going to bed at 9pm, pretending not eating carbs is great, emojis, and social media. She's probably an alien, much like the beloved octopus, though not as smart and diagnosed with a mental illness. She writes from a place of deep pain and hope, vulnerability and strength, love and self-loathing.

Emma Heldman is a leo who cultivates her firey inner dialogue into words as sweet as a lamb. She resides in the ether between Cincinnati and Blue Ash, Ohio.
