Camp Delivery Service

On March 14th Wave Pool closed our gallery doors due to the COVID19 pandemic. We quickly transitioned to support and connect with our neighbors in real and meaningful ways. For 12 consecutive weeks we distributed boxes of fresh produce and canned goods to doorsteps in Camp Washington during this crisis. We started delivering every Saturday starting March 21st, 2020.

These boxes also included an original piece of art by a local artist to uplift and connect us!

Additionally, we prepared boxes for pick up for artists, musicians, and other creatives who are out of work and in need of some physical and emotional sustenance during this time.

During the 12 weeks following March 21st we provided over 14,000 lbs of produce and canned goods to over 700 families.

We still have boxes of food available for pick up at The Welcome Project on Fridays and Saturdays 11am - 6pm. If you would like one delivered we will try to accommodate.

We greatly appreciate the many individual sponsors who helped us pay for PPE supplies as well as pay the artists who contributed to this project. We are very thankful to the Freestore Foodbank, Master Provisions, ETC Produce, What Chefs Want, and Fresh Market for providing food for this critical program.

Funds to support this program and other COVID19 Wave Pool initiatives were also provided by ArtsWave and the Greater Cincinnati Foundation.
