Counter Current featured the work of three radical ceramic artists whose practice involves going against the grain by pushing back against expectations and questioning the status quo. Artists M’Shinda Abdullah Broaddus, April D. Felipe, and Salvador Jiménez-Flores, provide viewers with a relatively more nuanced iteration of identity than the two-dimensional stereotypes that society typically allows for.
