The Lodge

Breathing new life into a historic masonic temple to anchor Northern Kentucky’s creative community with accessible, grassroots arts practice and programming.

The Lodge is a 9,000-square-foot community art studio housed in a historic Masonic temple in Northern Kentucky. Artists rent monthly studios, while the public can access affordable hourly rentals and free community events. As the only space of its kind in the region, The Lodge provides vital arts access to an underserved community. Our two theaters support music recording, performances, readings, film and photography production, and exhibitions. We seek funding to repair and upgrade our 100-year-old building, ensuring safe, accessible, and expanded public use. These improvements will strengthen our mission and deepen our long-term impact on the regional arts community.

The Lodge serves NKY as a grassroots arts hub focused on access, participation, and community connection. In a region where creative resources continue to shrink, we provide consistent, public-facing programming that brings people together through workshops, artist talks, performances, and neighborhood events, including our annual Mother’s Day plant sale supporting the Dayton Community Garden. Our mission is to cultivate creativity by making space for experimentation, learning, and shared cultural experiences. Maintenance and necessary building improvements have restricted our public access and capacity. Support for repairs and upgrades will allow us to safely reopen more fully and expand our community impact.
