Food Mapping Camp Washington

Join the Camp Washington Art and Mobile Produce (CAMP) Project as we Food Map the neighborhood.

What: Food Mapping is a new approach to learning about our modern food systems. It is a fun, interactive, and artistic exercise, where participants walk and bike the streets of a neighborhood to identify food sources and community assets. Community members engage with the “foodisphere” and create artistic maps that represent traditional and novel food sources. Examples include: restaurants, community gardens and farms, wild edibles, murals, green spaces, bike friendly roads, etc. This is a train the trainer exercise.
