Learn to use tools and make things!
Our wood shop is fully equipped to help you with your next project! We are stocked with tools including a planer, joiner, drill press, band saw, as well as dust collectors and new hand tools.
Community Ceramic Classes
Come learn basic ceramic skills including basic slab building, coil building surface design techniques and much more. Featuring a revolving crew of local ceramics artists to teach us all the skills we need to create things for our home, our friends, and to sell. Classes are taught by experienced local artists who teach basic, fundamental skills to help you begin your ceramic practice.
Our ceramics classes happen weekly, in a limited capacity in person! Every Saturday from 10 AM - 12 PM we meet in Wave Pool’s Wood Shop to learn hand-building techniques and share our progress with others.
Classes are donation based to help us pay our instructors and for supplies.
Professional Development for Artists
“Driving Lessons” (sometimes referred to by its more recent title, “The Professional Practice”) is an ongoing professional development program for artists, which was developed by Wave Pool in conjunction with some amazing artists, creatives, and educators.
Other Workshops
