For millenia, plants have been used to control reproductive cycles, regulate menstruation, and induce abortion. In this workshop with Ellie Mae Mitchell, learn about the ancient history of herbal abortion care, the medicinal properties of common plants, and the intersections between witchcraft and midwifery.

Ellie Mae Mitchell is an herbalist and farmer based out of Cincinnati, OH, focusing on womb sovereignty and supporting uterus having folks through pregnancy release. Besides supporting her clients at home, she teaches skill shares on herbalism and cervical self examination, and she is leading a grant funded alley cropping project this summer growing womb care plant allies in Athens, OH. She is also the creator of Moonbow Medicinals, a small business focusing on womb herbal allies.
